Most of us have sat in IEP meetings to map out everything we hope our kids will experience and learn in the coming school year. We plan what they will do, how often they will do it, and what success will look like for them over the coming months. It can feel like a lot of pressure! We want to get it exactly right and are afraid it all depends on that piece of paper we pass around and sign at the end of the meeting.
But this verse reminds me that the Lord is ultimately in control. We are faithful to do what we think is best for our kids, but He works in ways we can’t even imagine to bring about His purposes. I’m so thankful it isn’t all dependent on me!
