You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. Deuteronomy 13:4
Isn’t this what we want most for our kids? That they would hold fast to God?
Since our kids on the spectrum are often literal and brutally honest, we must teach them these expectations and model them to the best of our ability. We can say, “Walk after God, and let me show you how. Obey His voice like I try to do.”
Let’s show our kids what it looks like to walk after Him, and pray they do the same to the best of their abilities!
Help us to walk after You, fear You, keep Your commandments, obey Your voice, serve You, and hold fast to You.
